Napoli and Valencia have expressed interest in Roma midfielder Sergio Oliveira as the summer transfer window approaches.
The Giallorossi acquired the 30-year-old midfielder from Porto on loan with a €13 million buy option attached during the January transfer window, providing Jose Mourinho with a key reinforcement. Oliveira appears poised to continue his impressive performance in Italy after a six-month run.
According to A Bola, Roma are seeking a discount on the previously agreed-upon €13 million fee for Oliveira, which Porto are unwilling to grant. Currently, there is a stalemate in negotiations between the parties.
Napoli and Valencia, coached by Gennaro Gattuso, are both interested in signing Oliveira this summer, but neither club is willing to pay €13 million. The player desires to remain in Milan, pleased to be a member of Mourinho’s squad.
